Peter Hodge

Peter joined Peplows as an articled clerk in 1971 and has progressed to his current position as Corporate Services Executive and the personal assistant to Debbie Franklin in Torquay.

Peter has developed extensive knowledge in dealing with the complexities of company accounts, corporate taxation and the links with the effects of strategic taxation matters on owners of small and medium limited companies. In addition he is able to advise on personal taxation and accounting matters although in the main he now concentrates on corporate clients.

In August 2003, having previously jointly managed the Corporate Services Department in the Newton Abbot office, Peter was given a further challenge meeting the needs of clients in the expanding Torquay office. Through his experience gained over 35 years at the firm, Peter is able to provide clients with excellent support and advice.

Since 2004 Peter has been a member of the Executive Board of the Torbay Hospitality Association providing guidance to the hotel and hospitality business sector.

Externally, Peter’s interests include hockey, being heavily involved in the development and running of Torbay Mens Hockey Club for whom Peplows are the main sponsors.
