Jackie Brooks

Jackie joined Peplows in July 1991 and passed the Association of Accounting Technicians exams in July 1997 and is now a Member of the Association.

Shortly after qualifying Jackie had time away from the office to start her family. On her return, Jackie was involved in all aspects of accountancy and taxation within the Business Services department including VAT, payroll, bookkeeping, tax credits, accounts and tax returns and gaining experience in dealing with sole traders, partnerships and individuals.

Jackie was promoted to Office Manager at our Torquay office in November 2002 and now ensures that all business services clients in Torquay are dealt with professionally and in a timely and efficient manner.

Jackie has recently passed her Association of Taxation Technician exams and is currently studying to become a Chartered Tax Adviser.

Away from the office, Jackie’s a very active person. She plays hockey for Teign Hockey Club and is also involved in the coaching of the junior section of the club.
